10. The tried and true ... follow up... follow up... follow up. Never forget to either follow up with someone who has asked you a question. Always follow up with marketing such as email and phone calls even if someone did not respond. A famous wall street banker once said "the best thing to a yes is a quick no". Go for the "no" and you won't need to think about it again because you will get a few "yeses".
